Lofts&Rosegold project is located at Strelnieku iela 8, in a landscaped 3955 square meter area. The project consists of a newly built 7-storey residential building which is connected by a glass gallery to a 4-storey building built in Neo-Renaissance style designated as cultural heritage.

There are 75 apartments in 1st to 6th floors of the new building. The ceiling height is 2.96 m, even 3m in the 6th floor. The ground floor of the building is designated for commercial use.

The 4-storey building deserves a special mention – it is listed as cultural heritage by UNESCO. There are several layout options for this building. One of them is creation of loft apartments. It can also be fully used for commercial activities. The ceiling height is 3.11 to 6.54m.

When designing Lofts&Rosegold we used specification which considerably exceeds the minimum requirements set by the European Union laws and regulations, so the that project would meet the highest standards of fire safety and comfort, allowing to classify it as “Premium+”

Lofts&Rosegold is a prime example of synergy between architecture of two different periods, in which the historic building is a gemstone, and the newly built one is marvellous rose gold frame, bringing out the beauty of Lofts.

When designing buildings of modern architecture which may one day become monuments of 21st century design, we paid respect to history of the city by retaining the original design of Lofts building, built in a pompous Neo-Renaissance style. The Lofts building, with its pilaster decorated brick façade, rounded arched windows and decorative niches, as well as ceiling in the apartments as high as 5 to 6 meters, will become the only pure loft lifestyle residential building in the Quiet Centre of Riga.

The civil works know-how used for the new building:
Drilling of piles to the dolomite base and installation of the reinforced

bay window glazing, spacious balconies with glass fencing are covered with decking.
Historical building: renovated brick facade with restored period details and elements decorated with responds as well as semi-circular
arched windows and doors. Gable roof covered with classic tin with
folded profile


We approach the choice of the window systems with special care. It is
important for us to ensure the best sound insulation, thermal insulation and usage characteristics, while retaining the classic look of the
facade of the Historical Building.


The windows made without sacrificing historical forms in
wood frames with triple-pane glass are provided at the facade of the
historic building. General heat conductivity of window 1,1Мт2К.
2D glass units with the thermal conductivity coefficient of the facade
system of less than 1,0 W/M2K (less than 0,6 W/M2K for the windows)
is used for the structural façade glazing of the New Building. Wooden
framed triple-pane glazing unit windows are used for the windows
and balcony doors.

Thus, an effective system providing for a comfortable living environment and reducing the utility costs is developed for the Lofts&Rosegold Project.The windows are not only cost-saving and meeting the
highest quality standards, but also complying with the Energy Efficiency Class A+. Only environmentally friendly timber and paints are
used in manufacturing providing for the tenants´and environmental
safety.No Formaldehydes, Lead Carbonates or any other poisonous
substances are used for impregnating the timber
