Mercury Group Ltd realtor Paulina Oleinikova completed a successful sale of a unique historical property for commercial and residential use in the heart of Riga.
The complexity of the transaction was that the owner of the Latvian real estate was a French citizen with a bank account in Singapore, and the buyer was a Swiss citizen. Thus, one transaction covered the banking and legislative systems of four countries at once: Latvia, France, Switzerland, and Singapore. The deal amounted to more than one million euros.
Making such an international deal was a real challenge for us. But thanks to the professionalism of our team and the trust of our clients, the transaction was successful and reliable!
The sold object deserves special attention: it is a historic building built in 1903 by the outstanding Latvian architect Paul Mandelstam. Object address: Kalēju iela 23.
The gilded sun in the central part of the building symbolizes rebirth and prosperity. Recently, the object has been completely restored while maintaining its historical authenticity. The corner bay window is the central focus of the building. It was made using various finishing materials, surrounded by chestnut foliage and decorated with flowers. The filigree work of the building's restorers resulted in one of the most beautiful facades of Old Riga.
Very soon an atmospheric gastrobar with original cuisine will open on the first floor of the sold object - come visit it!
